The Stec Special ROM allows the position of each loop/channel in the stereo field to be individually adjusted. Descrete MIDI continuous controllers are available to adjust each mixer channel but the individual pans can be set by selecting a channel on the front panel, selecting the "Pan" parameter and turning the Select knob. You can also adjust the Pan of a channel when it is "active" (just initialized or selected for editing with Functions).

When several channels occupy the same position in the stereo field, a psuedo-undo effect can be accomplished.

The default on power up is to set channels 1 to the center with 2 and 3 hard left and right. All of the remaining channels are panned to the center for all pages. These settings can be overwritten when the memory backup option (EEPROM) is installed.

The front panel resolution of this parameter is 16 positions but 128 via MIDI.
