Title: Who Loops
Post by: bsellon on June 15, 2010, 02:25:44 PM
To get the ball rolling, here is a link to Chet Atkins "Jam Man" (of course):

I couldn't find any video of him doing it live but it's a great use of a looper in the context of a song.

Here are a couple from Phil Keaggy:

KT Tunstall - Black Horse and the Cherry Tree (one of my favorites):

And let's not forget the amazing Ufo Walter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgwyZwcsl3c (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgwyZwcsl3c): bass like you've never heard it before.  Brace yourself.

Speaking of KT Tunstall here are a couple of tutorial links of her actually showing how she sets loops up for Black Horse and the Cherry Tree. Really great viewing.

That's a great tutorial.  One of my all time favorite looping tunes.
