10/10/2025 Lie of the week: Contrary to the words that keep coming out of Republican mouths, illegal aliens are NOT eligible for Medicaid and health-insurance tax credits so they can stop using it as an excuse to shut down the federal government, something their constituents either never questioned or don't care (dark heart). I always hope for the former but concede that the latter is probably the case more often than not. And that is SAD.
In case you are wondering who the cuts affect the most, well, probably you but certainly a great many veterans and people who have experienced financial trauma, often from medical emergencies, and don't have a support system such as a close multigenerational family or a huge hedge fund to carry them through. These people, you (and me), are also the most affected by the increase in cost of everything due to the current administration's tariffs. Rich people don't give a fuck if the price of food goes up by 30%. The cost of food vs their income make the change effectively nonexistent. How much is a 30% increase on nothing? And why are services getting cut if the government is bringing in all this new tariff money? Because you (we) are to stupid to realize we are screwing ourselves and have become the best way for them to spread lies in the process.
So what happened to the price of everything going down on day one? Freedom of the press (going after Cobert and Kimmel much? Fox must be quivering in their boots after paying more than half a billion dollars over lying about voting machines. Talk about guilty)? Preventing the weaponization of government (it was a VERY big deal when Biden was accused of it)? Hillary email, Hillary email, Hillary, Hillary, Hillary, nothing. A Trump military leader accidentally spread military operations on social media and Trump himself was caught hiding classified information from the FBI and showing it to reporters after he was no longer President. He was/is a convicted felon who was most likely facing jail time if he wasn't elected President. I'd like to think that you are not stupid or evil but..why is he fucking us so hard (and when I say "us" I mean you too)? Why aren't the tariff dollars covering this and a lot more? Don't even get me started on Mexico paying for the wall.
